CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology has announced a fresh recruitment drive for 2026.

The institute is inviting applications for Technical Officer, Technician Grade-II, and Driver posts.

A total of 28 vacancies are available, and interested candidates can apply online from 28 April 2026 to 26 May 2026.

The recruitment offers opportunities for candidates with qualifications ranging from 10th pass and ITI to M.Sc. degrees. Moreover, applicants must also meet the prescribed age criteria for each post.

The Technical Officer post carries four vacancies with a pay level of Level-07. Candidates applying for this role must hold an M.Sc. in Hospitality Administration or Hospitality Management with at least 55% marks. The upper age limit for this position is 30 years.

Meanwhile, 23 vacancies are available for Technician Grade-II posts under different trades. Applicants should possess an SSC or 10th qualification with Science subjects along with an ITI certificate, apprenticeship training, or relevant work experience. The maximum age allowed is 28 years.

In addition, one Driver vacancy has also been announced. Candidates must have passed the 10th standard and hold valid LMV and HMV driving licences with three years of driving experience.

Knowledge of motor mechanisms is also necessary. The upper age limit for this role is 27 years.

Selected Technical Officers may receive monthly emoluments of nearly ₹91,070. On the other hand, Technician and Driver posts offer approximate monthly earnings of ₹39,970.

The selection process differs by post. Technical Officer and Technician applicants must clear a trade test followed by a competitive written examination. Driver candidates will undergo a qualifying skill test and a written examination.

Applicants must complete the online form through the official website, CSIR-CCMB. However, submitting only the online form is not enough.

Candidates must also send a signed hard copy along with self-attested documents to the recruitment section in Hyderabad before 5 June 2026.

The application fee is ₹500 for UR, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PwBD, women, and ex-servicemen are exempted. Candidates should apply early to avoid last-minute technical issues.
