  • Sunflower seeds boost immunity. The zinc and selenium content in them protects the body against inflammation and improve immunity. Vitamin E protects against the damage of free radicals.
  • They reduce LDL and total cholesterol levels in the body and thus prevents the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The pantothenic acid in these seeds helps increase good or HDL cholesterol.
  • Sunflower seeds are loaded with oleic and linoleic acid. Besides, they contain sodium, magnesium, and potassium. They help control blood pressure. These components also help prevent the formation of scars and prevent skin infections. They keep the skin glowing and nourishing.
