Shankhpushpi is a conch-shaped flower. The flower is also known as Asian pigeonwings. It has several other names also. The flower is widely used in Ayurveda. It is used as a brain tonic and memory-booster.

Shankhpushpi syrup, powder or tablets are available in Ayurvedic medical stores. People also consume its juice. Its oil is used for massage.

Shankhpushpi is an effective brain tonic. In traditional remedies, it is used to improve the functioning of the brain. It improves memory as well as cognitive abilities. Shankhpushi decoction is made with a cup of water and a teaspoon of powder. Intake of this decoction can reduce mental fatigue caused due to long working hours and excessive screen time using a computer or TV.
