Tibetan butter tea is also known as Po Cha. Though it is one of the most popular drinks for Tibetans, it is also liked by people in the Himalayan regions of Bhutan, Nepal and India.

Making a traditional black tea in Tibet consumes a long time as making butter and boiling tea takes a long time.

A special black tea is used for this water which is boiled for many hours.
