Foods that fight and prevent cancer
Cancers are one of the biggest problems for humans. In these days, they have become very common due to many reasons. Here are some foods which are proven to have anti-cancer properties.
Carrots
These orange vegetables are one of the best things you can eat to fight against cancer. Carrots are very rich in beta-carotene which is very helpful for our eye sight. They are also very beneficial in fighting a wide range of cancers.
Kale
Kale is rich in indoles, which help in stopping conversion of certain lesions to cancerous cells. It can also help in suppressing tumor growth and block cancer-causing substances from reaching their targets.
Broccoli, Cabbage, and Cauliflower
These vegetables are rich in a compound called indole-3 which can fight breast cancer by converting cancer producing estrogen into a protective estrogen. It can also prevent cancers like colon and rectal cancer.
Mushrooms
They are good at fighting cancer and also improve the immune system.
Sweet potatoes
They are rich in anti-carcinogenic elements like beta-carotene which will protect the DNA in the cell nucleus from cancer causing chemicals outside the nuclear membrane. They are helpful in preventing a wide range of cancers including breast cancer.
