Beauty tips that all girls should know
Why depend on various cosmetic and expensive spa treatments when you can make yourself look beautiful easily?
Here are some of the best beauty tips that all girls should know.
Making lipstick last longer
It is quite often an annoyance when the lipstick that is supposed to last the day gets smudged all over. To prevent that, blot the lipstick after applying it using a tissue paper.
After that, apply a light dusting of translucent powder. You can do this several times based on the increased you want.
Homemade lip balm
You don’t need to go around buying costly lip balm from store. You can easily make it by slow heating equal amounts of beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter and a few drops of rose or any essential oil of choice.
The card mascara
This is a trick even professional beauticians use. You can use a credit card or something like it to make your lashes look good. Hold the card up to your lashes while you apply mascara.
This helps you easily apply it without smudging and it reaches the roots well. The card of course can be easily wiped clean from the mascara.
No shampoo, no problem
If you ever run out of shampoo, you don’t need to worry. You can simply spray starch on oily parts of your hair.
It works just like a dry shampoo. You can also use baby powder for this purpose.
Forget soap, use olive oil
Soap tends to cause dried up skin. One of the most popular tricks used for face is to use olive oil to gently cleanse your face. It is also nourishing for your skin.
Make perfume last longer
Perfume is used so one can smell good even when working all day. But the reality is that it doesn’t last long. In order to make it last longer, apply it behind your ears, back of wrists, back of knees and base of the throat.
