Travel to Vietnam for just ₹9
Low-cost airline carrier, Vietjet, announced a promotional offer to flight passengers. It announced offering air tickets for just ₹9.
The fare excludes airport tax and surcharges. Those who want to explore Vietnam can use this opportunity.
Air passengers can book the tickets every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday till the offer is available.
The airline offered 30,000 promotional tickets for the travel between August 15, 2022, and March 26, 2023.
It excludes public holidays and peak season. Passengers can book the tickets on the website or through its mobile application.
The offer is valid on 17 routes, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad Passengers can travel from any of these cities to four cities in Vietnam, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc.
Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh is the largest city in Vietnam. Da Nang is a popular coastal city in the country, while Phu Quoc is well-known for its beaches.
Vietjet operates four flights a week from New Delhi and Mumbai to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh Cities. However, the airline wants to extend its operations on eleven additional routes, starting from September.
The journey time in a direct flight from an Indian city to a Vietnamese city is around six hours. A connecting flight via Singapore or Bangkok could double the journey time. It takes around 12 hours.
Currently, low-cost airline carriers like IndiGo and Vietjet Airoperate around 12 direct flights a week. Passengers can travel on these direct flights from an Indian city to a Vietnamese city.
In June, Vietnam Airlines launched direct flights between New Delhi and Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City. Flights from New Delhi to Hanoi are operated two times a week. At the same time, flights from New Delhi to Ho Chi Minh City are operated three times a week.
