Ways to recover deleted WhatsApp messages
WhatsApp is one of the most widely used messaging apps in the country. With its easy user interface and interesting features, the app became a favourite to many people.
Normally, people use it to send text or voice messages and share images or videos. People also forward messages to others on WhatsApp.
If you change your smartphone or accidentally delete your chat, conversation or messages, you may lose your chat history unless you have a backup. Remember that WhatsApp does not save your chats or conversations on its servers but allows you to backup it on your Google Drive or internal storage of your mobile device.
So, if you want to back up your chats and conversations on your Google Drive, follow the below-mentioned process:
First, enable the backup option to your WhatsApp. To enable it, go to Settings in WhatsApp and choose Chats, then Chat backup and backup to Google Drive. It will help you save your chats on your Google Drive. It displays different options like daily, weekly, and monthly. Select your desired option.
There are other options also like Never and Only When I tab Backup. If you choose Never, your chat history will not be saved. The other option allows you to back up if you tab the button. So, choose carefully to recover your chat history from your Google Drive. This process is useful if you change your device or switch to a new mobile phone.
Here is the process to recover the backup on another mobile device:
Log in to your Google account on the device from which you want to use WhatsApp. Then, log in to your WhatsApp account using the mobile number which is being used for WhatsApp. Then follow the verification process, after that, you can get the chat history from your Google Drive.
