Ravi Shankar Prasad: sanctity for everyone irrespective of religion
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has spoken about how Muslims do not vote for the BJP, but the government has given them proper sanctity. He then goes on to question what is being done wrong; are they not acknowledged enough? Is the sanctity proper or not?
In recent elections, the party has scored extremely well, with only the rival Congress getting a clear majority in Punjab.
Prasad himself has visited many Muslim-dominant villages where Muslim youth are running websites to avail government services and help people irrespective of religion.
He showed dislike for the extremist left-wing showing hate against Modi. However, he noted that extreme left having lost elections around the country, their opinions are dying down. He also said that the left side views are left out all over the world…
Prasad talked about the diversity of India which is its culture. Saying that extremism is not healthy, Prasad said that religion does not matter to the current government and they will provide welfare to everyone.
In the Assembly elections, in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, BJP showed an impressive win. BJP was also successful in Goa and Manipur.
He provided the case of Karimul Haque, who was a short-listed tea garden labourer serving Prime Minister Narendra Modi, going on to describe how his religion never showed through, nor whether or not he voted for them matter.
Haque used his own motorcycle like an ambulance to rush sick people to hospitals and saved nearly 2000 lives.
He praised Haque and said that more should follow his example and not care about religion.
To conclude, he emphasizes people try to bring trust to the voters in order to earn their vote. He calls this the end of politics based on caste, community, and religion.
