12 year old writes his exams blindfolded
He may be just 12 years old, but he is already spreading awareness about eye donation with his unique approach. Meet R Madheswaran who wrote his English exam blindfolded to create awareness on eye donation.
Madheswaran is a class 7 student in Sri Ramakrishna Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore. He sat for his English exam blindfolded and managed to finish his exam in two hours. The surprising fact is that Madheswaran did not have any eye injuries nor is he visually impaired. He wanted to experience the way visually impaired people experience the world and at the same time he wanted to spread awareness about the various talents that they possess.
Madheshwaran claims to have unique skills which let him read phone messages, question papers, and even text books while blindfolded. He used these unique skills to write his English paper. The question paper was not in Braille, nor were the alphabets embossed.
When asked how he did his paper, he says that every word and number has a different smell which lets him read them in his mind. Using this same technique, he even wrote the words perfectly between the lines by smelling the sheet.
Madheswaran’s parent claim that he acquired these skills after he attended a brain fold activation program which taught him to improve his concentration and enabled him to sense many things without seeing them. His parents were confident in his skills so they approached the school authorities to seek the permission for this special way of writing exam. The authorities also happily agreed.
Despite many people being shocked that such skills can be used, the young boy was determined to do everything he can to spread awareness.
