Over 40 students were taking the bus to their Intermediate examination center, ready to take their exams, when the bus unfortunately broke down.

Stranded on the side of the street, the 40 students were worried that they wouldn’t be able to take their exams.

However, luckily, a vehicle came to the rescue to pick them up and take them to the examination center.

A. Srinivasulu, Station House Officer (SHO) from Marredpally, was on bandobast duty when he saw the 40 students, who were waiting for any vehicle that might pick them up and take them to the center.

Taking action, Srinivasulu and the warden worked together to send most of the students to their examinations in autos.

However, eventually, the police ran out of autos, and eight girls still needed to get to the examination center.

They broke down in tears, because their exam would start in about 10 minutes, and they were convinced that they would not be able to make it to their exam in time.

Srinivasulu decided to take matters into his own hands, and he offered to take them to the examination center in his own police car.

They packed into his vehicle, and Srinivasulu drove them to the exam center.

Srinivasulu had to get the girls to the examination center in a very short period of time, so he asked his driver to switch on the siren so that traffic would get out of the way of the vehicle.

All he was focused on was dropping them off in time, so he didn’t even get to ask them where they were studying.

Srinivasulu managed to get the girls to the examination center in time, and he then rushed back to bandobast duty.

After the event, he was praised for his actions, since they show that policemen are more than just law enforcers and that they have a human side too.
