Neysa.ai: Powering India’s AI infrastructure layer

As artificial intelligence adoption accelerates, the need for reliable computing infrastructure has become critical.

Neysa.ai positions itself at the foundation of this shift by building the backbone that powers AI systems in India.

Founded in 2023 by Sharad Sanghi and Anindya Das, Neysa focuses on infrastructure rather than consumer AI tools.

Sanghi previously built Netmagic Solutions into a major managed hosting company before its acquisition by NTT Communications.

That background in operating large-scale data infrastructure shapes Neysa’s approach to AI compute.

At the centre of its offering is Velocis, a GPU-as-a-Service platform. Instead of investing in expensive hardware, enterprises can rent high-performance computing resources on demand.

This model allows companies to train AI models, run inference workloads, and scale usage without building physical server capacity.

Modern AI training depends heavily on specialised processors, most notably those manufactured by Nvidia. However, these chips are costly and often scarce.

Neysa addresses this constraint by purchasing GPUs in bulk, deploying them in domestic data centres, and providing access through its cloud orchestration layer.

As a result, organisations gain scalable AI performance with lower upfront investment.

The company is increasingly compared to Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. However, Neysa differs in focus.

While hyperscalers integrate AI within broader cloud ecosystems, Neysa builds specifically for GPU-intensive workloads.

Its platform optimises cluster management, workload distribution, and performance monitoring for AI use cases.

Importantly, Neysa also supports India’s push for sovereign AI infrastructure. Through alignment with the IndiaAI Mission, it enables enterprises and government agencies to host data domestically.

This reduces latency and strengthens compliance with evolving data regulations.

The company competes with domestic players, including Yotta Data Services and E2E Networks. Yet its strategy remains clear.

By concentrating on AI-native infrastructure and scalable GPU clusters, Neysa aims to become India’s dedicated AI cloud backbone rather than just another cloud provider.
