Navratri Special Tourist Train to Vaishno Devi   | Fusion - WeRIndia

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) introduced a special tour package for those who want to visit the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.

The special tour, Navratri Special Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra Tour, is offered by the Bharat Gaurav Tourist train. The package for a single ticket is ₹13,790, and for children aged 5-11 years is ₹10,795. The package price for a double or triple sharing ticket is ₹11,990.

The package includes four nights and five days. It includes a journey in 3AC class, onboard train and off-board vegetarian meals, conveyance facility from railway station to hotel, accommodation for two nights at a standard hotel in Katra, travel insurance, and tour escort services throughout the tour. All applicable taxes are also included in the package. However, the cost of sightseeing, entry fee and local guides are not included in the package.

The Vaishno Devi Yatra tour from Delhi to Katra will begin on September 30, 2022. Passengers will be allowed to board the train at the following stations also: Ghaziabad, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Ambala, Sirhind, and Ludhiana.

The train will originate from Delhi. Passengers will be served dinner on the train. It will reach Katra railway station the next morning at 10 am. They will be served breakfast on the train.

After reaching the Katra station, tourists will be taken to the hotel. Lunch will be served at the hotel. Vaishno Devi trek yatra will begin after lunch. They will spend two nights in Katra. They will check out from the hotel after lunch.

Tourists will be taken to the Katra railway station. The train will reach Delhi the next day. Dinner on the same day and breakfast the next day will be served to them on the train.

Tourists will not have a choice of food or menu. A standard menu or packed food will be served to all of them. Also, they have to pay an additional amount if they want any room service. Similarly, personal expenses like mineral water, drinks, laundry etc. should be borne by tourists.
