Know about Gayatri Mantra
Gayatri is one of most popular mantras and it is considered to be very powerful with divine power. The mantra has 24 syllables which are meant to help the body both physically and mentally.
The Gayatri mantra is used during the worship of god. The mantra seeks the blessings of god, brahamagyan, societal happiness, and money. The Gayatri mantra should be chanted at three specific times in a day. The first time is before sunrise. The mantra should be chanted till the sun rises.
The timings aren’t the only factor for chanting these mantras. The person chanting this mantra should do it silently and when mentally calm. This mantra should not be chanted with a loud voice.
This is the meaning of the Gayatri Mantra. “Oh God, the Protector, the basis of all life, Who is self-existent, Who is free from all pains and Whose contact frees the soul from all troubles, Who pervades the Universe and sustains all, the Creator and Energizer of the whole Universe, the Giver of happiness, Who is worthy of acceptance, the most excellent, Who is Pure and the Purifier of all, let us embrace that very God, so that He may direct our mental faculties in the right direction.”
Worshipping with Gayatri Mantra is said to keep away bad omens. The mantra is said to bring good fortune to you and your family. It is considered lucky to all and is especially considered to be beneficial for children.
Chanting this mantra every Tuesday is said to help you solve problems with your enemies. Thinking of Goddess Durga is helpful in these situations.
Chanting this mantra 108 times on Monday is said to help in problems related to marriage getting delayed. The Goddess Parvati is suitable for this purpose. Asking her blessings is said to bring an end to marriage troubles.
