Ibrahimpur – A Model Village
Have you heard of a village called Ibrahimpur? It exists in Siddipet mandal. This small village however should be an inspiration to strive towards. Its clean ways has made the village an ideal role model for those who wants a cleaner India.
In this village, one won’t find any garbage strewn around. One cannot even find plastic covers and pet bottles. This village even has clean lanes and good sanitary practises. The roads of the village are cleaned thrice a day. Such cleanly practices are being followed since the past two years.
The result of such practices for two years is that the village has not reported any viral fever cases for the past several months. The sanitation drive in this village has now become a regular practice and it is the reason which prevented diseases in the village.
The village is so clean that the four Registered Medical Practitioners (RMP) out of five who worked in the village left the village to find work. This is because there hasn’t even been a single viral fever case reported in the village. The village also takes cares of the dirty water. One won’t be able to find any dirty water flowing on lanes and bylanes. This water is used for plants and trees.
In the village, every house has a ‘water conservation pit. The development of the village has been made possible with the help of resident K. Yella Reddy. He is the son of Sarpanch K. Lakshmi Yadamma and has an automobile engineering diploma.
The village has 265 houses and a population of 1,120. One can find this village at the border of Karimnagar district. There are many people from all over the country who visit this ideal village. Its small population should be an inspiration to the vast number of villages in the country.
