Smart publicity vehicle launched by IAF

The Indian Air Force (IAF) launched a smart publicity vehicle with an impeccable travelling platform yesterday in New Delhi at Air Force Station. The vehicle is named Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) and is aimed to support the activities of IAF in the country. It was launched by Arup Raha, the Air Chief Marshal of IAF.

According to a spokesperson, there are many novel initiatives being planned and the IPEV is one of them. These initiatives are aimed to stay connected with the younger generations who are tech-savvy. Youth can also have a clear view of opportunities at the IAF. The IAF is going to celebrate its 83rd anniversary soon on October 8 and the unveiling of IPEV comes just three days before it.

The launching of the IPEV is the continuation of an air combat 3D mobile game which was launched last year. The mobile game went well and was accepted by many youth. In a similar way, the IPEV is also expected to go through. The IPEV will go to various educational institutes through the country in future. The design of IPEV and its hi-tech features such as tabs, touch panels, simulator and video screens will attract youth and gain publicity towards the efforts of IAF. Moreover, this will help in boosting the brand of IAF.

Some notable features of IPEV are as follows:


  1. The Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) helps aspirants to learn more about the various aspects of IAF.
  2. It consists of an Information Zone to give all career-related information in the IAF to jobseekers.
  3. The vehicle also has a Simulator Zone to deliver joy of flying experience to users in various aircrafts.
  4. The Experience Zone provides an invigorating feel to visitors on Sarang aerobatics team, Air Warrior Drill Team, flying among others.
  5. The Experience Zone is maintained by Glasstron goggles.
  6. The aircraft Model Zone exhibits modern aircraft in its inventory with their features and videos.
