PM Modi's Proposal to store Key Records of Citizens online in a Digital Locker | Fusion - WeRIndia

NarendraModi, the Prime Minister of India has made a push towards digital India by forming a plan to make all education, medical, and birth records, etc. online and store them in a digital locker. The plan is to store certificates issued by government in individual digital lockers. A communication protocol will be established for government departments so that they can access the data without needing the hard copy.

The planning of this procedure has already started. The first step in the plan is that idea is announced on the MyGov.in portal where suggestions for designing a communication portal will be discussed. The portal has presently 2 lakh people registered on the portal. The portal has already completed two tasks. They are; the Independence Day e-greeting to be issued by the government and the logo of the finance ministry. The ideas for Digital India have received the maximum number of suggestions in the portal.
