New bus routes to link Jewar Airport, Noida & beyond
In a major push to enhance public transportation in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region, Uttar Pradesh is launching an expanded bus service connecting Jewar Airport and Pari Chowk in Greater Noida.
Covering a distance of nearly 42 kilometres, this new route, announced by the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, is expected to significantly improve travel for both residents and airport-bound passengers.
Although a limited bus service between Jewar Airport and Pari Chowk has been in place since 2023, the latest expansion promises more frequent trips and wider coverage.
As a result, the route will play a key role in supporting the region’s rapid development, while making travel more accessible and efficient.
Moreover, the government is rolling out two additional bus routes to strengthen the area’s connectivity further.
The first new route will connect the Botanical Garden to Kulesara and Bhangel, passing through Noida Sectors 20 and 21.
Meanwhile, the second route will operate from YEIDA’s regional office to Dankaur Chowk, Sector 17, and Bhanghel, stretching over 51 kilometres.
These new services will directly benefit residents of Rabupura and various Noida Sectors.
Additionally, they will provide easier access for students at Gautam Buddha University and commuters heading to major spots in the city.
Looking ahead, there are also plans to introduce an electric bus service linking Delhi to Jewar Airport, further reinforcing the state’s green transport initiative.
Significantly, the upcoming Noida International Airport, located southeast of Delhi near Greater Noida, is poised to become the capital’s second major aviation hub.
Slated to begin operations later this year, the airport is being developed under a public-private partnership model, with Noida International Airport Limited acting as the implementing agency on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Government.
All in all, these efforts mark a decisive step toward building a smarter, better-connected region.
