Fresh guidelines issued on coronavirus
The number of coronavirus in India rose to 137 on Tuesday including 24 foreigners. The number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 3.
In this context, fresh guidelines have been issued by the Indian Council of Medical Research and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday.

Here is a list of these guidelines:
- All international travellers that travelled in the last 14 days should be isolated for the next 14 days.
- Masks should be worn if you have symptoms of cough, fever etc. or you are suspect. Healthcare workers who attend patients with respiratory symptoms should also have to wear masks.
- While wearing the mask, unfold the pleats and face them down. You must change the mask every six hours or as soon as it becomes wet.
- Dispose of the masks in closed bins and do not touch the outer surface. Clean your hands with soap or disinfectant after removing the mask.
- All educational institutions, museums, gyms, swimming pools and theatres should be closed. Students are advised to say at home.
- Private organizations should allow their employees to work from home to the maximum extent possible.
- Meetings should be minimized and if possible they shall be conducted online.
- Restaurants will have to follow protocol and frequently touched surfaces should be kept clean. They should arrange open-air seating wherever it is possible. Minimum 1 metre of distance should be maintained between the tables.
- Planned weddings are to be performed with minimum guests while all non-essential social and cultural gatherings have to be postponed.
- Sports events also should have to be postponed wherever feasible.
- Non-essential travel should be avoided. Buses, trains and aeroplanes should make sure to disinfect surfaces.
- Hospitals should have to follow prescribed protocol while dealing with COVID-19 patients and visitors.
- Shaking hands and hugging have to be avoided.
- Protective measures shall have to be taken for delivery boys working in online ordering services.
