Improve your Child’s Vision
The sense of vision is one of the most important parts of a human body. At a young age, the human body needs to be given proper care to make sure that it grows well. Parental care is very vital in proper vision care of a child. Let us take a look at some of the things parents should know about child’s eye care.
- During the first four months of a baby, the baby’s room should have dim light. Exposing the child’s eyes to bright light can be damaging to the child.
- The position of the baby’s cot must be changed frequently. This will give the baby to look at different things at different times.
- Try to keep electronics and bright screens at least 8-12 inches away from the baby.
- During five to eight months of a baby, try to hang some moving toys on the crib. The baby will try to move his/her hands to reach it. This will improve the hand-eye co-ordination.
- Babies should also get enough time to play on the floor.
- During 9 to 12 months of the baby, play games like hide and seek to improve the visual memory of the child.
- During 1 to 2 years of the baby, roll objects in different directions in front of him/her to improve the vision of child.
