SBI services to be withdrawn soon - Fusion - WeRIndia

State Bank of India, the largest public sector is going to withdraw some services to their customers if they do not provide the required things.

That means you are going to lose some services from the SBI, if you do not adhere to the mandated stipulations from December 1 onwards.

Here is a list of services that SBI will withdraw to their customers provided that they fail to meet the conditions:

If you had not registered your mobile with the SBI, you will lose net banking facility. You need to register with the bank if you want to continue it or else you cannot utilize the online banking facility. You need to visit the branch in order to register your mobile number.

In order to receive pension from the SBI branch, submission of life certificate is essential. The bank has asked pensioners to furnish it by November 30, 2018 or else they won’t receive the pension. They can either submit it in the branch or online.

They can do it with Aadhaar based digital life certificate or Jeevan Praman. Or they can physically visit the branch while submitting the pension certificate.

Pension loan offer is the facility provided by the bank to the retired state, central and defence employees who are aged below 76 years. The loan is given against the pension obtainable through any of the SBI branches. There is no processing fee till the end of this month.

SBI Buddy will be closing on November 30 as per the official notification. The accounts with nil balance have already been shut down.

It is not clear when SBI closes the accounts that have a balance. Hence, it is better to withdraw the balance as early as possible within the stipulated time.
