How to check your SBI account balance
Normally, people check their account balance at an ATM when they are using it for cash withdrawal. But, the usage of ATMs has reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, several people are using their net banking to check their account balance.
Besides, there are many other ways to check your account balance in State Bank of India (SBI).
If you register your mobile number with the SBI, then you can dial 09223766666 and know your balance details. It is a toll-free number. Other toll-free customer care numbers are 1800-11-2211 and 1800-425-3800.
You can use the SMS service of the bank to know your account balance. Type: REG (space) Account Number and send it to 09223488888. It will help you to register your mobile number. Bank will send a confirmation message to get your mobile number registered. After that, your account balance will be shown. You can also use this number to avail other services of the bank including e-statement, mini statement, request for cheque book, get home loan interest certificate and education loan interest certificate.
Card balance enquiry can be used to know your account balance, credit and cash limit, reward payment status, and many other services. Send an SMS to 5676791 and get your required service. Or type BAL and send SMS to 0922376666.
Missed call service is another option. Give a missed call to 0922376666.
SBI mobile banking also helps provide balance details. There are many mobile applications of the bank like SBI Anywhere, SBI Online, and SBI Anywhere Saral. Use any one of them.
Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) is another way through which you can know the account balance. You have to register with the bank to get bank services using through USSD. For this dial *595# and enter your User ID. After that, follow the options. Then enter your MPIN and submit.
