Vijayawada Police announces video contest to raise awareness on cybercrimes

In a unique initiative, the Vijayawada Police are inviting youth, YouTubers, and students to participate in a video contest aimed at promoting cyber safety and women’s security.

As cybercrimes continue to rise, particularly against women, this contest offers an engaging way to spread awareness and take proactive steps towards ensuring the safety of the community.

Vijayawada Police Commissioner Rajasekhara Babu, along with other police officials, recently unveiled a poster for this initiative.

The poster includes two QR codes that participants can scan to get all the necessary details about the contest.

This initiative aims to harness the creativity and tech-savvy nature of today’s youth to address critical issues like cybercrime and the protection of women.

To participate, interested individuals must first scan the QR codes provided on the poster. After scanning, participants will need to register by entering their names and other required details.

They must also specify the topic on which they plan to create their video. Videos should be between one and three minutes long and can be either animated or live-action.

Once the videos are created, participants need to upload them using the links provided via the QR codes.

The contest is designed to encourage innovative and impactful content, with the police set to review all submissions.

The Vijayawada Police have announced exciting rewards for the best videos. The first prize will be ₹30,000, the second prize ₹20,000, and the third prize ₹10,000.

This initiative not only offers a chance to win attractive prizes but also serves as an important platform to contribute to public safety and awareness.

The police urge all interested participants to register as soon as possible and use their creativity to help combat cybercrimes.
