Mumbai Midnight Cycling
Don’t miss the Mumbai Midnight Cycling event. If you are cycling enthusiast and enjoy scenic rides, then this event is perfect for you. This event will be covering the coastal route of Mumbai. Cyclists will start in Mumbai and the ride will end at Bandstand Bandra covering a beautiful coastal route.
The complete ride is 35 kms long. There will be halts at few points like Marine drive, Shivaji Park, Bandstand etc.
There were previous midnight cycling rides too, however this time it will on a coastal route. The dates for the event are 11th-12th June 2016 on the midnight. Cyclists wanting to participate in the event will start at Mad Over Donuts, Colaba Causeway at 11:30 p.m. on June 11.
There is no backing out in the middle. Participants can drop their cycles on starting point on their own expenses if they want. Based on the situation, there could be change in the route.
The tour will cover various scenic places. It will go through the coastal route of Mumbai on cycle with Nariman point, Marine drive, Girgaon Chaupati, Worli Sea face, Shivaji Park, Siddhivinayak temple, Mahim Dargah, Bandra Band stand.
The cost for the event is Rs.999 per person. If you are a lifetime member of theirs, it costs Rs.899 only. The cost includes: Cycle Rental, Transfers of Cycles from Band stand back to Colaba, Refreshments on tour, Helmets, Expertise & mechanic Charges. Anything other than what is mentioned is excluded from the cost like any Transfer till Colaba and from Band stand.
Those who want to book for the event will have to deposit Rs.999 to the bank account of Mumbai Travellers. The cancellation for the event does have certain policies. If the cancellation is done 15 days before the event, then 75 percent of the money will be refunded. If it is done 10 days before, there will be a refund of 50%. After that, there will be no refund.
