CIPET opens applications for technical & administrative posts | Fusion - WeRIndia

A fresh opportunity has emerged for experienced professionals seeking senior government roles in the petrochemicals sector.

The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology has announced recruitment for 10 Supervisory Group ‘A’ positions across technical and non-technical categories for 2026.

The institute invites eligible candidates to apply online within the specified dates.

The available posts include Manager (Technical), Senior Technical Officer, and Manager (P&A). Manager (Technical) carries four vacancies, while Senior Technical Officer has six openings.

One post is available for Manager (P&A). The Manager positions fall under Pay Matrix Level 12 with a basic pay of ₹78,800. The Senior Technical Officer role is placed at Level 11 with a basic pay of ₹67,700.

The application window will open on 9 February 2026 and close on 3 March 2026. Candidates must complete the online application process through the official CIPET website.

However, applicants who had previously applied are not required to reapply. They may update their candidature as instructed in the notification.

Eligibility criteria differ by role. The upper age limit for Manager posts is 45 years, whereas for Senior Technical Officer posts it is 40 years.

Age relaxation will apply according to the Government of India norms. In exceptional cases, highly qualified candidates may receive relaxation up to 63 years based on committee recommendations.

For technical positions, candidates must possess a first-class ME or M.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Polymer Technology, or a PhD in a relevant field.

They must also meet specific experience requirements in polymers or plastics, along with service at designated pay levels.

For the Manager (P&A) post, applicants need a graduation degree along with an MBA, PGDM, or a postgraduate qualification in Public Administration with at least 55 per cent marks, plus ten years of HR or administrative experience.

Selected candidates will receive an estimated in-hand salary between ₹1.10 lakh and ₹1.40 lakh per month, including allowances and benefits.
