Details of Agnipath Recruitment Scheme
Amid the protests of Agnipath announced by the government of India, the centre decided to continue the recruitment process. The Ministry of Defence recruits Agniveers under the Agnipath scheme. Youth will be recruited for the Army, Navy, and Air Force under the scheme.
In this context, the Indian Air Force started the recruitment process. It invited applications for the Agnipath scheme from eligible and interested candidates. Unmarried male candidates are invited to apply for the jobs.
Here are the details of the recruitment process:
Indian male candidates and Nepalese can apply for the selection test under the Agnipath scheme.
Those who completed their Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply. Also, they must have secured 50% marks in English. They should have studied Mathematics, Physics and English in their Intermediate. Besides, the Board from which they obtained their certificates should be recognized and listed as a COBSE member.
Those who passed a three-year Diplomas course in Engineering and a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects with 50% are also eligible to apply. Subjects and marks should be the same as the above.
Candidates in the age group of 17.5 years to 21 years are eligible for the posts.
They have to pay an examination fee of ₹250 at the time of registering for the online examination. It can be paid through debit or credit card or internet banking. Candidates can also pay the examination fee by Challan payment at any Axis Bank branch across the country.
The registration process begins today and will end on July 5, 2022.
Full details and instructions are available on the website. A list will be prepared with the details of the candidates finally called for enrolment. It will be published on December 11. They will be sent e-call letters through emails.
