You can check your bank account balance via WhatsApp
WhatsApp is one of the most widely used social media messaging applications in the country. As it is easy to use, many people rely on WhatsApp for many things.
WhatsApp is updating the platform with many useful features from time to time. WhatsApp Pay is one of them. It allows customers to make online payments.
WhatsApp Payment method is based on Unified Payments Interface (UPI). It is designed in association with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
If you are using the latest version of WhatsApp, you can send or receive money through WhatsApp using this feature.
You need to approve the Payments Terms and Privacy Policy during the initial bank setup. If you do not find your bank on the list, contact your bank as it may not support the service. Also, makes sure the phone number should be the same for both WhatsApp and bank account.
In other words, the number you are using for WhatsApp should be linked to your bank account. You should also have the latest version of Android or iOS on your smartphone.
You can use the WhatsApp Payments feature if you have all these. You can also check your bank account balance through WhatsApp.
There are two methods to check your bank account balance. Here are the complete details.
You can check your bank account balance from settings. For this, follow the below-mentioned procedure:
First, open WhatsApp and tap on the More option if you are using an Android phone. iPhone users have to tap on Settings. After that, tap on Payments and choose the respective bank account. Tap on the View Account Balance option and enter your UPI PIN. Your bank account balance will be displayed.
Another method helps you know your bank account balance while sending money. Follow the below-mentioned procedure:
Open the payment message screen and tap on the available payment method. Proceed to View Account Balance after choosing the respective bank account. Enter your UPI PIN to check your bank account balance.
