India’s First Android One Hindi Smartphone
Google launched the first Android One Hindi Smartphone in India on Wednesday in Lucknow with an aim to offer the phone at affordable prices. The phone was launched in association with Spice Mobiles. Both the companies Google and Spice Mobiles were delighted on launching the first Hindi Smartphone in India targeting the major population of Northern states who speak Hindi.
The smartphone Spice Dream Uno H mainly focuses on Hindi speaking population. It is a Hindi version of Android One which was recently unveiled by Google with a complete Hindi keyboard. The voice inputs can be done in Hindi for renowned products of Google like Chrome, YouTube, Search and Google Maps amongst other popular applications.
Google stated that the phone was specially designed for Hindi speaking population in Northern states like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. The smartphone is a dual SIM device. It has 1.3 GHz Quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 1700mAh battery. It runs on Android KitKat OS and will acquire latest Android updates such as Android Lollipop. The phone is prices at Rs.6,499 and can be available online and offline through major retail stores in India.
