They maintain stable humidity and temperature, enabling the plants to flourish. Unlike conventional polyhouses, which often trap heat, Farm2Fam’s structures offer a controlled, cooler microclimate.

As a result, water usage decreases, and fruit quality improves.

This innovation also extends the berry season. Instead of producing for only a few weeks, Keya’s tunnels stretch the harvest to four or five months.

Consequently, productivity rises, and market availability becomes consistent.

Using these methods, Farm2Fam has successfully grown seven exotic berry varieties, including those previously considered unsuitable for Indian soil.

Keya’s innovation extends beyond infrastructure. She imported saplings adapted to local growing conditions, tested them intensively, and refined cultivation methods through continuous experimentation.

Moreover, she combined scientific research with practical insights from global farms to create a sustainable model with lower production costs.

These advancements have enabled Farm2Fam to scale rapidly.

The farm, now 20 acres in size, expects to produce over 135 tonnes of berries this season.
