Moderate earthquake strikes the Andaman Islands
A moderate earthquake jolted India’s Andaman Islands at 12:06 pm (IST) on Sunday, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported. Measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale, the tremor’s epicentre was located about 90 km deep, with no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
