India’s bullet train push gets indigenous boost
India is taking a decisive step toward building its own high-speed rail systems. A newly launched manufacturing hub reflects growing confidence in domestic engineering capabilities. At its Bengaluru plant, BEML has unveiled the ‘Aditya’ facility to produce the indigenous B28 bullet trains. The unit was inaugurated by Ashwini Vaishnaw, marking progress in the country’s Make-in-India high-speed rail mission.
