Tushar fights cancer and scores 95 per cent in CBSE
Many students normally enjoy their time in other activities than studies.
But here is a student who stands as a role model by winning the hearts of many parents with his motivational story.
Tushar Rishi, this 19- year old student from Ranchi has been in the news from the declaration of CBSE results. His story inspires many youth to achieve their goals.
Tushar was first diagnosed with bone cancer in his left knee when he just finished his mock board exams and was about to appear for his 10th standard board exams in 2014. But, he did not lose his courage.
He underwent chemotherapy and appeared for his board exams in which he secured a 10 CGPA.
At that time, he was under chemotherapy for almost 11 months.
Despite the challenges he had been facing with the health condition, he was not disturbed and tried to focus on his academics.
Even now, he has to visit AIIMS every month for a health checkup.
In his plus two, he scored 95 per cent marks. He secured 100 out of 100 marks in fine arts, 95 in both English and Physics, 93 in Mathematics and 89 in Computers.
His mother Ritu Agarwal is working in Birla Institute of Technology.
She says that Tushar depended entirely on the classes that were taught in school and he did not need to go to tuition. She expressed her happiness on his performance in the exams. Battling with the disease one one hand and struggling to focus on his studies and career on the other, Tushar is inspiring many students.
Not just that, he is the author of a book ‘The Patient Patient’ which is being sold on Amazon website. In the book he described his experiences at AIIMs to battle with the deadly disease.
Tushar has a strong will power to cope up with difficulties due to his medical condition. He follows the medication and diet given by his doctors to avoid further health issues in future.
