Even at the age of 10, she had strong goals.
She wanted to be a doctor, however, the university rules did not let her.
In 2007, she entered the Limca Book of Records as the youngest student who cleared Class X.
By the time she was 10, she even cleared the Uttar Pradesh Combined Premedical Test. If it weren’t for the university rules, she would have been on her way to become a doctor.
Sushma says that no person should be judged by age or first look.
Their talent and ability should be considered for that, she adds.
Regarding her dream to become a doctor, she says that she is very disappointed that she could not become a doctor now.
She has to wait until she turns 17 to start it.
Now, at the age of 15, she joined PhD at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU).
Everyone in the course are eight to nine years older than her. However, her talent and determination wonders them all.
She is not the only one with such talent in her family. Her older brother, Shailendra is the youngest computer science graduate in India at the age of 14.
Even more surprising is the fact Sushma graduated from the same college where her father worked as a sanitation worker.
Hailing from such poor conditions, her spirit never wavered and now she is an inspiration to students all over the world.
