In this context, Kerala-based OmicsGen LifeSciences launched microbe killing wipes and sanitizing solutions.

OmicsGen LifeSciences was founded in 2017 by Dr Beena PS to provide research genomics, proteomics etc.

The startup develops diagnostic methods by working with many health and educational institutes.

OmicsGen recently launched SmartLyse – wipes for gadgets, surface sanitizers and hand sanitizers that kill microbes.

SmartLyse solution has no harmful chemicals and is eco-friendly. Moreover, the components of the solution are FDA approved.

While normal hand sanitizers have more amount of alcohol, their sanitizers have a lesser amount.

Yet, OmicsGen claims that their products are very effective due to the working method of their products.

The solution can break the wall of bacteria, virus and fungus and kill them. Its protein-lysing capability can kill the virus effectively.

The founder Beena says that thousands of bacteria and fungus are present around humans and on their bodies in their research.

These microbes can be transmitted from one person to another person through gadgets. SmartLyse can remove such microbes.

These gadget wipes can kill microbes including the present coronavirus. Once used, the gadgets stay sanitized for up to four days.

Their surface sanitizers can keep the doorknobs, chairs, tables etc. germ-free. Hand sanitizers can keep hands sanitized and protect from COVID-19.
