NeoStencil – An online educational platform
Online education is accelerated due to COVID-19 lockdown. In this context, many EdTech startups emerge into the market while the existing spark with different solutions.
NeoStencil is an educational platform to offer around 500 courses to students. It doubled its partnerships during the nationwide lockdown.
NeoStencil is a Gurugram based startup. It was founded in 2014. It partnered with 50 educational institutions over the last five years.
However, within three months of lockdown, its partnerships increased to more than 100 institutions, making the partnerships more than double in this period.
At present, NeoStencil has partner institutions in all major cities including Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Trivandrum, Lucknow, Kota, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Patna.
NeoStencil was founded by the brothers duo, Kush Beejal and Love Beejal. However, later, Love Beejal moved to the US. Kush Beejal is an IIT alumnus.
This online educational platform offers live-streaming coaching to students who are preparing for various competitive exams like UPSC, GATE, NET, JEE, and NEET.
NeoStencil has more than 1,50,000 active users and the paid users consist of 10 per cent of the user base. Most of the students use their coaching classes to get admission to leading educational institutions.
Several students who used their online coaching benefitted in qualifying for the UPSC exams.
NeoStencil uses a B2B2C business model. It ties up with many coaching institutions for one exam segment.
These institutes are outlined as per their past results and reviews of the users. Students can choose their choice of the institute as per the reviews and ratings.
