The startup is funded by cricketer Yuvraj Singh. The main objective of EduKart is to help a student successfully complete a course from the very beginning of his or her enrollment.

Anyone who wants to pursue a course whether it is a degree or diploma can enroll on this platform.


Students can even complete certificate courses.

EduKart offers more than 2500 courses in various categories including degree, diploma, certificate, entrance coaching and K12.

EduKart was started by Ishan Gupta in 2011 with an aim to provide high quality education in India. It connects students and course providers.

Those who want to get the services can pay the prescribed fee by the company. Over 100 course providers are there on this virtual education marketplace.

Some of their course providers include Vidyamandir, Aakash, NMIMS, Jamboree, Digital Vidya, VSkils, Knowledge Woods and Copal Partners.

Many deemed universities like Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University are also their partners.

The company does not act as a study centre. It just act as a bridge between students and course providing institutions.

The rest can be done by the students. They have to check the credibility and recognition of the institution etc.

At the same time the course providers should also have to check the eligibility of the students to give admissions into a certain course.

​The company does not charge additional fees than the prescribed fee for the UGC approved courses.

The student can directly pay the prescribed fees to the course providers.

Students are given login details within 48 hours if they pay online fees.

There will be no extra charges on this payment. For the payment done via cheque or demand draft, login details will be provided within four days.

Course access will be provided to the student after the payment for cash on delivery mode payment.
