EduBrisk digitally empowers schools
Many startups emerged out of need. EduBrisk is one among them. Saiju Aravind was the Assistant Director of Naval Designs at Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
But this scientist turned into an entrepreneur accidentally. When his son Krishnadas was not willing to appear for his Class 12 board examinations, Saiju helped him prepare for his exams.
He formulated easy methods to learn and memorize and grasp the concepts faster for his son. These methods helped his son achieve good marks and also clear the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
Inspired by the results of his son, Saiju started EduBrisk. This edtech startup offers products and services to CBSE K12 schools in Kerala and the Middle-East.
Later ICSE schools were also added to its platform. Singapore-based Emerge Ventures is supporting the firm.
Now, EduBrisk has more than 100 school partners and 250 professionals including teachers, subject matter experts, software professionals etc. Saiju who joined DRDO as a senior scientist is an IIT Delhi alumnus.
He published many international papers in science and technology. He also wrote a book ‘Learners of Life’.
Later, he became an entrepreneur and founded EduBrisk. He won several awards for his entrepreneurial skills.
EduBrisk has an artificial intelligence algorithm to provide integration of subject topics and curriculum.
It upskills teachers, students and parents with different programmes.
It is a good platform for schools, teachers, students, and parents as it enables more structured learning process.
It connects all stakeholders and offers a complete virtual classroom environment.
It has three pricing models for schools. These include Silver, Gold and Platinum. While the Silver package is available for ₹100 to ₹200, Gold package is priced at ₹200 to ₹400, and Platinum costs ₹300 to ₹500 per student, per month.
