In order to keep the pollution in control, the Supreme Court asked an action plan. The Apex Court asked the central government yesterday to come up with a proper action plan within two days. The Court told the government that the programme should be either an action plan or a common minimum programme. Next hearing will be on November 10 on this issue.

It raps the state governments for not using a helicopter for this purpose.
NGT also questioned the implementation of measures that were taken by the Delhi government. Several people in the Delhi-Chandigarh route violated the rules and did not stop their construction activities despite the ban being in force.
NGT also questioned the governments of Punjab and Haryana for burning paddy straw and violating orders issued against agricultural fire.
