Topmost Googled India’s celebs
According to Google’s Year in Search, Priya Prakash Varrier, the Malayalam actress ranked number one followed by Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra’s husband.
The ‘Oru Adaar Love’ actress, Priya Prakash Varrier’s iconic ‘wink’ has helped her earn the honor of most searched personality in India.
Priyanka Chopra ranked fourth on the list. Sapna Choudhary, the famous dancer and performer ranked the third position whereas Anand Ahuja, Sonam Kapoor’s husband is in the fifth position.
The other celebrities on the list are Sara Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Meghan Markle, Anup Jalota and Boney Kapoor.
Globally Meghan Markle topped the list of most searched celebrity. Meghan Markle married Prince Harry earlier this year.
Google revealed the list on Wednesday. Google’s Year in search list also revealed several other things.
FIFA World Cup 2018 was the most searched topic on Google in India. Other topics like live score, IPL 2018, Karnataka election results and Big Boss were also on the list of top searched topics.
The top five ‘How to’ topics were: how to send stickers on WhatsApp”, “how to link Aadhaar with mobile number”, “how to make rangoli”, “how to port mobile number” and “how to invest in bitcoin”.
Top five ‘What is’ topics were: what is section 377”, “what is happening in Syria”, “what is kiki challenge”, “what is me too campaign” and “what is ball-tampering”.
Top searched cinemas were ‘Robot 2.0’ followed by ‘Baaghi 2’ and ‘Race 3’.
Topmost searched Bollywood songs included Neha Kakkar’s ‘Dilbar Dilbar’ followed by Arijit Singh’s ‘Tera Fitoor’ and Atif Aslam’s ‘Dekhte Dekhte’.
The most searched celebrity weddings were Priyanka Chopra/Nick Jonas, Deepika Padukone/Ranveer Singh and Sonam Kapoor/Anand Ahuja.
