Amidst tight security, pomp, and rituals, historic Ram Temple inauguration
In a historic moment eagerly awaited by millions, the grand inauguration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is scheduled for January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside various dignitaries, will participate in the event.
The consecration ceremony saw the unveiling of the impressive Ram Lalla idol, a 1.5-tonne, 51-inch tall masterpiece sculpted by Arun Yogiraj from Karnataka.
The intricately carved idol depicts Lord Ram as a five-year-old boy standing on a lotus formed from the same stone.
Prime Minister Modi will lead the Pran Pratishtha rituals, while a team of priests, will oversee the proceedings.
Notable personalities and celebrities have received invitations to grace the momentous occasion.
Ensuring the safety of the event, Ayodhya is under a multi-layered security cover, with 10,000 AI-based CCTV cameras and drones monitoring movements.
Plain-clothed police personnel are deployed, guaranteeing a secure environment for the celebration.
As VIPs gather, they will be treated to mahaprasad, a delectable offering prepared with pure ghee, five types of dry fruits, sugar, and gram flour.
In the lead-up to the ceremony, Prime Minister Modi paid homage to the Ram Setu origin point in Tamil Nadu’s Dhanushkodi, marking the final stages of his spiritual journey.
Ayodhya is draped in a festive ambience as the city awaits Lord Ram’s return to his birthplace.
A robust security cordon surrounds the city, with Rapid Action Force personnel at key locations and patrols on the Sarayu River.
The excitement isn’t confined to Ayodhya alone. One of Odisha’s chalk artists crafted a miniature statue resembling the Shri Ram idol and a tiny idol of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, showcasing the Swachh Abhiyan initiative.
Adding to the spectacle, more than 5 lakh diyas will illuminate 700 markets in the national capital, Delhi, in celebration of the Ram temple consecration ceremony.
The entire nation rejoices as Ayodhya prepares to witness this historic event, a culmination of faith, artistry, and cultural significance.
