SpiceJet launches monsoon offer | Fusion - WeRIndia

In order to attract customers of the Indian skies, SpiceJet has come back up with a limited period ‘monsoon sale‘ providing one-way airfares ranging from as low as Rs 999 (exclusive of taxes and fees).

The offer of making a booking for SpiceJet’s Rs 999 can be made from July 28 to July 30, 2015.

Furthermore, the scheme is applicable for travel between August 4, 2015 and October 15, 2015 including the dates above.

As per the special “Monsoon Offer”, the budget carrier had launched a special scheme with a beginning ticket worth of Rs 1,999 (all inclusive).

When looking at the data from the directorate General of Civil Aviation or DGCA, it can be seen that SpiceJet reported the highest passenger load factor of 93.2 per cent among domestic carriers last month. The airline which stood second is its rival airline IndiGo with a load factor of 86.6 per cent.

The meaning of load factor measure is the utilization of airlines or what percentage seats were filled when compared to the full capacity.

Due to the promotional schemes offered by other airlines, there was a good growth within the passengers of Indian skies. The quantity of passengers carried by domestic airlines throughout January-June this year increased by nearly 20 per cent.
