Sai's devotees to get easy darshan tickets - Fusion - WeRIndia

Good news to the devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba. There will be no more waiting in long-standing queues to get darshan tickets.

They can easily get tickets online from IRCTC and have a hassle-free darshan.

In order to ease the ticket booking process for Sai Baba’s devotees, Indian government is planning to launch e-ticket facility.

The facility is going to be launched today i.e. on January 26. With this, the devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba can book darshan tickets online at the IRCTC websites.

The online ticket booking facility helps avoid long queues there. Those want to travel to Shirdi Sai Nagar, Manmad, Kopargaon, Nasik and Nagarsol can use this e-ticket facility.

Only one darshan transaction can be availed by the devotees.

At present, this facility can be used for only paid darshan tickets. But, later on, it will be availed for free darshan tickets as well.

IRCTC in their official statement said that the e-ticket facility is being launched for the devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba to book darshan tickets online at their website.

Darshan date can be chosen by the devotees. For this, their PNR status should have to be confirmed. They can book the darshan tickets on booking confirmation page with their PNR.

Darshan will be available only on the chosen date at any time. After booking the darshan ticket, users can take printouts from ‘Ticket Booked History’ page.

During the holidays and festival season from Christmas to New Year, the Sai Baba temple at Shirdi in Maharashtra received donations worth ₹14.54 crore by the devotees.

Out of them gold and silver items are worth ₹19 lakhs.

In addition to that, the temple earned ₹3.62 crore from paid passes and online darshan facility provided to the devotees by the temple management.
