Registration for Phase 3 vaccination opens on April 28
Earlier this week, the government announced vaccination for all adults aged above 18 years in phase 3. The next phase or third phase of vaccination will begin on May 1, 2021. In this phase, all adults can get vaccinated as per the government notification. Essentially, the third phase of the vaccination drive is intended for people in the age group of 18 years to 45 years.
The registration for vaccination in this phase will open on April 28 on the Co-Win app. People can also register on the Aarogya Setu app. Many news sources said that the registration process would begin on April 24. However, the government through @MyGovIndia, tweeted that the registration for the third phase of the vaccination drive in the country would begin on April 28.
In addition to the current COVID-19 vaccines, Covaxin and Covishield, the government also permitted Russian Vaccine Sputnik V to inoculate more people.
If you want to register for the third phase of vaccination, then follow the procedure:
- First, log on to cowin.gov.in and enter your mobile number.
- An OTP will be received on the given mobile number.
- You have to enter this OTP to verify your number and validate the process.
- After validating the OTP, you will find the “Registration of Vaccination” page.
- Enter your details. You have to specify if you have any comorbidities by clicking on ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
- After entering your details, click on the Register button found at the bottom right.
