PM Narendra Modi’s Radio Programme Commences on Vijaya Dashami
PM Narendra Modi’s radio programme “Mann ki Baat” will commence on Vijaya Dashami, October 3. Earlier in September, PM expressed his wish to connect to people to share their ideas and suggestions. This idea has received positive feedback by several people throughout India. Hence it was decided to commence the programmes and the first programme is scheduled on October 3 which is the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami festival. The programme will be recorded on the previous day i.e. on October 2.
Modi shares his thoughts and comments on variety of issues and ideas about development and other issues from the citizens are invited. A separate Open Forum has been created for this on MyGov website. The speech will be quickly translated into 24 Indian and 16 foreign languages according to officials.
It is believed that radio is a wide medium to reach huge population that is approximately 99.19% as AIR consists of 413 stations situated across the country and reaches 92% of the country. It will be aired on Doordarshan and FMs as well in association with AIR.
