Now you can read Mann Ki Baat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat is one of the most popular shows in India.
It is broadcasted on All India Radio which is hosted by the Prime Minister of India.
The programme was started on October 3, 2014 on the occasion of Vijayadashami. Since then, it is being broadcasted once in every month.
So far, more than 61,000 ideas have been shared by the listeners of the programme.
Many people listen to the programme interestingly. Now, anyone interested in the radio programme of PM can read it in a book.
As per the report of News18, a book is going to be released in Delhi today on PM’s radio show Mann Ki Baat.
President Pranab Mukherjee, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will be present in the release function.
The title of the book is Mann Ki Baat – A Social Revolution on Radio.
Even though many titles were considered for the book, PM Modi wants to keep the name as such.
Some of the names that were considered are: ‘Varta Modi Ji Ke Saath’, ‘PM ke saath ru-ba-ru’ and ‘Modi Vaani’ etc.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has written the preface for the book in which he wrote that it is a wonderful effort of the PM to address the issues of the citizens on a radio show once in a month.
PM Modi gets thousands of letters from listeners of the radio programme every month.
As PM is busy with his daily schedule, he does not read all of them. Yet, he reads some letters to recognize the issues and concerns of the citizens.
PM choose the radio as it is a very effective medium to communicate with the people of the country.
PM Modi said in the book that radio is a very powerful tool to transform the country.
