Narendra Modi Inspires with His first Independence Day Speech
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has insisted that his first Independence Day speech would be delivered without wearing a bullet proof vest. Modi has attended the speech at red fort wearing a saffron turban with green border and a white shirt.
Modi has started with announcing that on October 11th, the birthday of Jay Prakash Narayan, the blueprint of planning commission will be shared with MPs and states. He stated that a new initiative to build nation from the villages will be started.
The prime minister has talked about how the products should not consist of zero defects yet have no adverse effect on the environment. He stated that India should think of ways to export and not import. He stated that the development of India should not be isolated from the world.
He asked the nation to wage a war against poverty. The prime minister has stated that this is a youthful nation and that youth should be the strength of the India.
