COVID in India might worsen soon

The COVID pandemic has been shaking up the eDelhi became worse regarding COVIDtire world. India itself has a large number of patients suffering due to the disease. But it seems that this is just the beginning. There could be more cases and worse situations in the future.

The supreme court has asked the governments of Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Assam to provide a detailed report with steps taken by them to prevent the pandemic. The apex court stated that things will be even worse if states are not prepared for it.

A bench headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan also enquired the governments of Gujarat and Delhi about the worsening COVID-19 situation.

In November, the numbers in Delhi became worse regarding COVID. This suggests a dangerous situation coming shortly. It is vital that strong decisions are made before it is too late.


Coming to the vaccine for Indians, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said that 25-30 crores of Indians will be vaccinated by September 2021. Furthermore, the vaccine will reach India in the first three months of 2021.

There is also the situation of reopening colleges in India. Recently, the colleges in Uttar Pradesh opened with just 50 per cent of their attendance. It is pretty clear that people do not want to take risks of COVID even for education.

It will take a lot of planning and careful execution to reopen educational institutions all over India. Usage of mask and gloves along with hand sanitizing stations everywhere could be a good place to start.

Despite what decisions the government may take, the responsibility to stop the pandemic also lies with each and every citizen. One should take proper precautions while going out and dealing with people.
