This classification aids in categorizing MSMEs. In addition, it seamlessly integrates them into various government databases, such as PAN, GST, and IT.

- Government Tenders: Udyam registration opens doors for MSMEs to participate in government tenders.
- Lower Interest Rates: Business owners can access loans from banks and NBFCs at reduced interest rates.
- Tax Rebates: Exclusive tax rebates are available for Udyam-registered businesses.
- Ease of Approvals: Streamlined processes for government approvals, licenses, and registrations.
- Subsidies: Avail tariff and capital tax subsidies, fostering financial relief.
- Industry Setup Incentives: Rebates and concessions for setting up industries.
How to Complete Udyam Registration:
- Visit the Official Website: Access the Udyam registration portal.
- New Registration: Click on the New Registration tab and fill in the Udyam registration form.
- Aadhar and PAN Verification: Enter and validate Aadhar and PAN details via OTP verification.
- Business Details: Specify your business type and PAN number linked to business accounts.
- Form Completion: Fill in all relevant details, ensuring accuracy.
- Submit and Validate: Submit the form and validate it using the OTP received on your mobile.
- Confirmation: Upon successful registration, receive a message with your Udyam registration number.
- Certificate Download: Download and print your Udyam Registration Certificate.
Eligibility Criteria for Udyam Registration:
- Micro: Investment ≤ ₹1 crore, Annual Turnover ≤ ₹5 crore.
- Small: Investment ≤ ₹10 crore, Annual Turnover ≤ ₹50 crore.
- Medium: Investment ≤ ₹50 crore, Annual Turnover ≤ ₹250 crore.
