SBI SCO Recruitment 2026 for Wealth Management posts

Experienced professionals seeking banking careers can explore fresh opportunities in wealth management and related functions.

The State Bank of India (SBI) has opened applications for six Specialist Cadre Officer positions on contract.

SBI issued an advertisement on September 30, 2026. Applications opened the same day and will remain available until October 21, 2026.

Candidates must register and pay the application fee online through the SBI recruitment portal.


The vacancies cover five roles: Head Sales, Central Research Team (Product Lead), Manager (Business Process), Project Development Manager (Technology), and Central Operations Team (COT) Support.

Mumbai is the suggested posting location. However, SBI can assign selected officers anywhere in India.

The offered annual CTC ranges from ₹37.20 lakh to ₹199 lakh, depending on the position. Head Sales carries the highest CTC limit of ₹199 lakh.

The Central Research Team role offers up to ₹77.20 lakh. Meanwhile, the Business Process and Technology roles offer up to ₹47.20 lakh each. COT Support carries a limit of ₹37.20 lakh.

Eligibility varies considerably across the posts. Head Sales requires an MBA or PGDM and at least 15 years of sales management experience.

Research candidates need an MBA, PGDM, CA or CFA, plus relevant experience. Other positions require qualifications such as graduation, BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MBA or PGDM.

Furthermore, candidates must meet the experience requirements specified for their chosen role. SBI will consider age, qualification and experience as of August 31, 2026.

The selection process includes shortlisting followed by an interview. The interview carries 100 marks.

Subsequently, SBI will negotiate the CTC with candidates according to merit. The final merit list will depend only on interview performance.

Selected officers will receive a five-year contract. SBI may extend the contract by another four years, subject to its conditions.

Candidates should review the official notification carefully before applying, especially the post-specific qualifications, experience rules and reservation provisions.
