NABARD Specialists Recruitment 2025
The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has released an official notification inviting online applications for 06 Specialist posts across various departments.
The application process began on 13 October 2025 and will close on 28 October 2025.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply through NABARD’s official website.
This recruitment drive targets professionals with expertise in climate change, information technology, rural innovation, data analysis, finance, and e-commerce. These positions are contractual and offer competitive pay packages.
Each post has specific educational and professional qualifications:
Climate Change Specialist – Mitigation
- Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Climate Science, Energy Engineering, or Sustainable Development.
- Certifications in carbon management are preferred.
- Age: 35-55 years.
IT Specialist (Carbon Finance Cell)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or MCA. Preference for additional certifications in Data Science, Project Management, or Public Policy.
- Age: 35-55 years.
Head – Rural Tech and Innovations
- Master’s degree in Agri-Business, Rural Technology, or relevant Engineering fields such as Electronics, Computer Science, or Food Processing.
- Age: 30-50 years.
Head – Data & Impact Evaluation
- Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, or Computer Science.
- Age: 30-50 years.
Head – Finance, Compliance and Commercialisation
- CA or MBA/PGDM in Finance, Marketing, Rural Management, or Agri-Business.
- Age: 30-50 years.
E-Commerce Specialist
- Graduate or Postgraduate with specialisation in marketing, preferably with a focus on digital or social media marketing.
- Age: 25-35 years.
The salary varies based on the post:
- Climate Change Specialist: ₹25-30 lakh per annum
- IT Specialist: ₹1.5-2.0 lakh per month
- Head roles (Rural Tech, Data, Finance): ₹1.90 lakh per month
- E-Commerce Specialist: ₹1.25 lakh per month
Application Fee
- SC, ST, PWBD candidates: ₹150 (intimation charges only)
- All other candidates: ₹850 (₹700 application fee + ₹150 intimation charges)
Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews in a 1:3 ratio based on qualifications and experience.
- Those currently employed in government or public sector organisations must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
- Selected candidates will undergo a pre-recruitment medical examination and must be declared fit by NABARD’s medical officer to be appointed.
How to Apply
- Candidates must apply online only through NABARD’s official website between October 13 and October 28, 2025.
- No other mode of application will be accepted. While applying, candidates must upload a scanned photo, signature, thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
